| the baseball game was so much fun!!!!! it was too perfect! the weather was amazing, we got there late and still got ketchup shirts, and ketchup was the only kind they still had in mediums, we got the cheapest seats and they were GREAT, we saw two home runs + fireworks, we got a free dozen krispy kreme donuts b/c the royals got 12 hits, KETCHUP WON THE HOT DOG DERBY!!!! because ketchup freakin' ROCKS!! and so we got a free hot dog for that, and the royals even won the game!!!
.........and then my car wouldn't start. but some SUPER nice guys (who were also ketchup fans!) gave us a jump! so we got out of the parking lot, but we turned right instead of left out of the park and didnt realize we were going the wrong way b/c my car was doing crazy weird things. my speedometer wasnt working, my windows were barely working, when i turned on my lights, the car slowed down and the dash lights dimmed, and if i tried to use my blinkers or hazard lights, this buzzing noise would sound, so i didnt want to use those. so i was driving w/ no lights in the dark not knowing how fast i was going or where i was going and no one could see me. then my gas pedal kinda stopped working and our speed kept decreasing, so i pulled on to the nearest side street - which just happened to be the most creepy-looking - and the car slowly died to a stop. so we had no idea where we were and my car was completely dead. and it was smoking. and smelling. my mom was on her way but had no idea where we were, but somehow she found us and called a tow truck and then all six of us squeezed into her car and took us home. we left the park at 10. we got home at 12.30.
but everyone is fine, my car's okay, and we got to see how a tow truck works! i still could not believe it happened though. of all the nights for my car to break down, it had to be when we were that far away, with that many people on that great of a night, AND it was a school night. it would have been way cooler if it had been friday! ga!
that really was the best baseball game ever though. once my camera batteries charge, i'll post pics!
chocolate shake chaos!
i wasn't able to give blood today. my iron was too low by three tenths. i was so extremely sad. i had been looking forward to this day for a month. but then, it might not have been a very good idea to give blood having been sick on monday, and then the stressful night i had just had. so im going to eat red meat and broccoli and try to give again soon!
we're not going to the observatory tonight. too cloudy. but we're trying for next week!
